Research Areas

My research focuses on understanding human motor control and proprioception. Here are the main areas I'm currently investigating:

🧠

Proprioception

Proprioception can be defined as the central nervous system's estimate of the mechanical and spatial state of the musculoskeletal system. My research fosuces on kinesthesia, which is specifically the sense of position and movement of the body.

Detailed research information coming soon! Please check back later for updates on my proprioception research projects.

🏃

Motor Control

I am interested broadly in how the nervous system controls movement. Specifically, I am interested in how the proprioceptive system contributes to motor control.

Detailed research information coming soon! Please check back later for updates on my motor control research projects.

📊

Sensorimotor Integration

I investigate how sensory information influences motor commands and how this integration allows for effective interaction with the environment. Specifically, on how vision and proprioception are integrated to produce smooth and accurate movements.
