Proprioception can be defined as the central nervous system's estimate of the mechanical and spatial state of the musculoskeletal system. My research fosuces on kinesthesia, which is specifically the sense of position and movement of the body.

I am interested broadly in how the nervous system controls movement. Specifically, I am interested in how the proprioceptive system contributes to motor control.

I investigate how sensory information influences motor commands and how this integration allows for effective interaction with the environment. Specifically, on how vision and proprioception are integrated to produce smooth and accurate movements.
